Gooey Kinder Cookies

Posted by Unknown at 4:12 AM
I found a box of kinder bars in my cupboard that needed to be used up, so I tweaked some chocolate chip cookie recipes until I came up with this really awesome, gooey, and soft, cookie. This is by any means not healthy, so indulge in moderation!

Recipe:

Makes 12-15 Cookies

-1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
-1/2 cup light brown sugar
-1/4 cup white sugar
-1 large egg
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1 1/4 cup flour
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp baking soda
-4-5 kinder bars, chopped
-A few tablespoons of chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:

     Preheat oven to 350 C
1. In a medium bowl, combine butter and sugars with mixer until light and fluffy.
2. Mix in the egg and vanilla.
3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda.
4. Add the flour mixture to to the butter mixture and mix until it combined.
5. Stir in the chopped kinder and chocolate chips, if using.
6. On an ungreased baking sheet, drop balls of cookie dough a few centimeters apart. Flatten slightly.
7. Bake for 10 mins* The cookie dough will look slightly uncooked, but will complete cooking after a few minutes of cooling.
8. Let cool for about 10-20 mins, until cookie dough has done baking.
9. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
10. EAT!!

*I once had to bake them for up to 20 mins because they were still too doughy, so you may need to bake them for more than 10 mins. First wait and see if they have finished cooking, if not then put them back in the oven until they are done.

Enjoy! xx
